Arrowhead Stadium Improvements

Kansas City Chiefs, Suite RenderingWork began in 2007 on an ambitious four-year, $375-million project that will conclude in 2010 with the completion of the NEW Arrowhead Stadium.

Funded by a $250 million contribution from the taxpayers of Jackson County, Mo., via a 3/8-cent sales tax and a $125 million investment by the Hunt Family, the fully refurbished facility will offer Chiefs fans a host of modern amenities, while preserving the stadium’s unique character and rich history.

All fans will benefit from concourses throughout the stadium that will be widened by 60 percent, while the number of restroom fixtures will increase by more than 120 percent.

Enhanced Kansas City Chiefs, Founder's Plaza Renderingscoreboards and ribbon boards will also add to the fan experience.

A heroic-sized statue of Lamar Hunt will greet fans as they enter the Founder’s Plaza, an area honoring Hunt’s vision as a sportsman, a business leader and an innovator.

A 28,000-square-Kansas City Chiefs, Club Level Renderingfoot Hall of Honor inside the New Arrowhead will celebrate the franchise’s history and accomplishments through interactive displays.

The club level will feature a spacious, fully-enclosed, climate-controlled concourse.

A new club concourse and lounge will have varied seating options, upscale food and beverage offerings, and easy access to new escalators and elevators.
